Q) |
How many kits are
sufficient to do up my car? |
A) |
One kit will cover
approx. 250 sq. ft. or 23.25 sq.m. of surface and is
enough to do your whole car whether it is a saloon,
SUV, 4x4 or large MPV if you apply the Step 2
sparingly just enough to cover the whole surface. A
thicker layer will not make the surface more glossy
but make buffing off later more difficult and a waste
of the expensive product.

Q) |
After the PPS coating
done on my car can I re-paint certain dented part of
my car later and re-coat back that part only? |
A) |
Yes, you can do so as PPS is
not similar to those with silicone base protectants
that will give you re-painting problem later.

|
Q) |
Will
PPS remove wax, heavy dirt and oxidation on my car? |
A) |
Yes, PPS Step 1 will
clear all waxes left on your car before treatment of
PPS Step 2 but will not
help to remove scratches and oxidant (dull and
discoloured paint), all these damages need to be taken
care of first with our other compounding / buffing
products listed in our products in this website before
application of PPS as PPS will preserve paint in its
present state and condition. That is why it is
advisable to protect your paint when it is still new
and in good condition.

|
Q) |
How
long will PPS protect my car ? |
A) |
If you washed your car
regularly especially after the rain and removed all
bird droppings, tree saps and other hard to remove and
acidic contaminants within 24 hours, PPS will last up
to approximately 5 years on a new car and 3 years on a
used car with paint still in good condition.

|
Q) |
What is the difference
between PPS and other normal paint protectants in the
market? |
A) |
The main difference is
that we guaranteed up to 5 years protection (7 years
in the USA and Canada) with just one application
without further re-application except with
regular washings and recommended PPS chemical cleaning
every 6 month to remove the built up of detergents,
road film and brake-dust on PPS coated surface.
Whereas, the other paint protectants which also
claimed to give up to 3 to 6 years protection need you
to send back your car for regular re-application or
monthly maintenance which will cost you much more
money and time, otherwise you void the warranty!

|
Q) |
Can I apply the PPS on
my own? |
A) |
Yes, it is easy to do
it on your own with just an hour of your time by
following the DIY application stated in our website
provided your car paint is free from contaminants and
in good condition. However, our warranty will not
apply for DIY cases as very often our application
instructions are not strictly followed.

|
Q) |
Would PPS works on
glass, chrome, plastic, clear coat, fiberglass, gel
coat, vinyl and rubber surfaces? |
A) |
It is safe to use PPS
on the above surfaces except for rubber, vinyl,
unpainted plastics and all porous surface. So it is
advisable to cover those untreatable surfaces with
masking tape before applying PPS Step 2 as it can be
hard to remove if left to become dry on those
surfaces.
